Recently, I had the pleasure to be invited to the Mompreneur Show. It was fun and I was able to share my story of why I started in the fitness business. Thank you to Vicky for being a wonderful host. I truly had a wonderful time. Be sure to watch her show every Monday morning to meet […]
I am currently in my hometown, Oceanside, California attending my 20 year reunion and visiting family. While on vacation it is easy to use it as an excuse NOT to continue with your fitness and health plans but it really is possible to stay on track.
I pack my sandbag shells and Jungle Gym in my suitcase so I could get a great workout no matter where I am.
Knowing I was staying with my sister-in-law who lives 3 blocks from the beach made it easy. I brought my sandbag shells and filled them up at the beach. I recorded my circuit I did that is excellent for fat loss.

As an RKC, I absolutely love the kettlebell and what it has done in transforming my body. One of the best exercises you can master to help you lose stubborn body fat is the kettlebell swing. However, there are some fundamental movement patterns you need to master before attempting to swing or you could injure your back.
I will be attending the Perform Better Summit this Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Chicago. I need to have some snacks handy for in between seminars. The recipe I’m sharing today is cheap to make, loaded with protein and veggies. I’ve used whatever is already handy in my fridge. My kids love these so I […]
We had a very unusual warm day last week. I wanted to take advantage of the chance to get the kids outside and moving. Exercise for kids should not be like ours. They need to have fun, move and play. This is how physical education is done at the Ramos house. Get outside and play […]
